The Role
As a Controller at Groupe Autoforce, you will play a key role in the financial performance of our dealerships. Depending on your experience and skills, you may be responsible for up to 3 dealerships, overseeing accounting operations, compliance, and providing strategic support to management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the full accounting cycle, including month-end and year-end closings, journal entries, invoicing, and reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements and monthly operational reports
• Supervise and mentor a team of accounting clerks
• Develop and maintain internal controls, policies, and procedures to ensure compliance and safeguard assets
• Ensure legal compliance, including privacy laws (Loi 25) and business francization requirements
• Collaborate with the management team to maximize financial and operational performance

Profile and Qualifications:

• Experience as a financial controller (experience in automotive dealerships is a major asset)
• Proficient in accounting and IT tools
• Strong team spirit and excellent communication skills
• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
• Ability to communicate in both French and English (to be able to respond to our English-speaking customers and suppliers)
