Hyundai's IONIQ 5 N electric hyper hatch has been named Car of the Year at the 2023 TopGear.com Awards. Lauded for its groundbreaking features, the IONIQ 5 N is the brand's first electrified N model designed for driving enthusiasts. The high-performance hatch combines the Electrified-Global Modular Platform (E-GMP) with N's motorsport-bred technologies, earning praise for its thrilling driving experience on both road and track. The vehicle features a powertrain delivering up to 650 PS, capable of accelerating from 0-62 mph in 3.4 seconds and reaching a top speed of 161 mph.

TopGear's judges commended the IONIQ 5 N for its focus on delivering maximum enjoyment and excitement behind the wheel, describing it as a game-changer that "turns a page for electric cars." Hyundai's success with the IONIQ 5 N marks the second time in three years that a Hyundai N car has received the Top Gear Car of the Year honor. The award recognizes Hyundai N's commitment to innovation, performance, and delivering high-quality experiences for customers.
